Will Animal Crossing face the same fate as Nintendogs or Brain Training?

AC sales have been dropping in the west. GC AC sold better than Wii AC and Wii version was released Holidays 2008 when Wii was exploding.

Yes, but the Wii AC failed worldwide. In Japan, it did only slightly better than the GC one. Despite this, the 3DS AC smashed records there just recently. This proves that it's not that AC is necessarily declining, but that the Wii AC was a pretty big failure.

or that AC is better suited for portable use.
