I don't exactly agree. But...
These consoles can (and will) coincide after awhile, for the time being though that won't happen, of course. The 3DS has a much bigger library and has been established in the market for at least 1 or so years than the Wii U. That means a bigger following too and more push for sales since Nintendo has seen what 3DS is capable of.

Once the Wii U gets some Blockbuster games it should start to rise in sales and, depending on the amount of blockbuster the game is, rise above the 3DS sales sometimes.
