Of all the cities with a population above 250,000, those with the strictest gun laws are actualy those with teh worst gun related crime.
Our problem isn't guns, it's gangs and drug laws. Take another city with little gang or drug issues an the gun related crime rates are incredibly low.

Because we can totally stop other countries from making guns and smuggling them into the country right? And anti-gun laws will totally stop bad people from owning guns?
The real problem is not guns it's gangs and drug wars. The best way to fix that problem would be to just legalize most drugs, not to restrict guns.
There is a reason the worst gun-related crime areas and mass shootings take place in heavily gun controlled areas and gun restricted buildings.
