Shows how fast things are declining.  The predictions of a slow and steady decline over 4 years or more for the PS3 were ridiculous, the predictions of "possibly flat" for this year were insanity.

Pricecut, colours, games. Releasing the cheap model in America would be a start, too.

price cut only makes a difference now... even then its a short term blip.

The cheap version as in, cheaper to make for Sony or in retail? The MSRP is still €249 officially.

Once there is an official pricecut to €199 you think it will just ba short term blip? PS3 came near that price during the holidays, and you know how well it did.

Just let him be a pessimist. :P

No way PS3 ends up 40% down YOY. Maybe 20% depends on how well the market reacts to another price cut. 

Basically, 2 weeks is a TERRIBLE barometer for the year.
