don't forget all the exclusives coming out in Q1 & Q2 (beyond, LoU, GoW, Sly, Puppeteer, Ni No Kuni). PS3 could get some big spikes from a couple of those. Also I think Sony has some room to maneuver with the cheaper slim. They will cut price if Microsoft does I feel.

Nah casuals wont be swayed by core games this late in the gen. Core gamers allready made their choices.

So God of War and Last of Us won't provide any sales spike? I guess Halo and Gears don't help Xbox when they have a release anymore...oh wait.

Its called marketing.....and Halo as a brand name. And Gears isn't a system seller anymore, least I dont think so.
I don't see any core gamer today that didn't buy a PS3 because of a GOW spinoff or a new IP. Marketing will determine any sales spike.
Now its just about casuals and price point of the console to entice said casuals.
Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.
