Nothing that would make a difference to them. It has been well documented how much Japan hates games or consoles from the West. Or have different standards for Japanese consoles versus "outsider" consoles. For example the Xbox cannot be black because that is a bad color in Japanese culture. Yet it's fine on the PS2 because Sony is a Japanese company. It doesn't matter what games you put out on a console if the people are too bigoted to buy the console. Here is a good article that goes over a lot of it, and even it doesn't cover everything MS did with the 360.
But this is taking away from the original point. It really doesn't matter what Japan thinks of the 360 or why MS cannot make a dent there. Nintendo doesn't have that issue and thus it won't affect the WiiU.
