Would a modern day Gamecube succeed?

In terms of 3rd party support it would be hard to tell, the GC had decent 3rd party support (at least compare to the Wii), so I think a GC2 would have the same amount of 3rd party games. I think a modern GC would be a moderate success, obviously a lot of variables, but if I had to guess maybe a little lower to the current PS360 in terms of sales.

PS brand is not as big????? The only brand that can survive such a horrible launch is the ps brand that just showes you how big it is

But did the PS3 sell anywhere near the PS3? The PS brand is strong, but back in the PS2 days it was the most dominant a gaming brand has ever been. Nothing could really do well with it in the market, as evident by Gamecube and Xbox sales.
