Not really. It will be quite underpowered in comparison to the Nextbox and PS4. Not to mention the tablet controller being an obvious appeal to the casual crowd.
The gamecube was very poweful for it's time, and the majority of it's games were aimed to that core base.
It's all about the philosophy change.
