It works quite well with keyboard shortcuts seemingly improved from Win 7. Also, clicking in the corners can quickly swap between apps and go back to the start menu
My main issue is that I use 2 monitors and you can only use metro apps on one screen, it is kind of annoying... I can have the Netflix Win 8 app on one screen and then use chrome on the other, but the app can disapear sometimes if I open other Windows from the start bar, it is little confusing so I just generally stick to Netflix in chrome. The main useful thing is putting skype in a sidebar while using the rest of my screen works quite well
