System A will have a game with great smooth graphics. System B will have a game with the same art direction and look, but a few trees will have slightly less smooth shadows far in the background that you must go out of your way and place your face 3 inches away from your 4K display to notice. Gamers will post extremely zoomed in pics on forums and comment about System A shitting all over System B's graphics capability.
This is the future that I see.
