Wii U is a Nintendo console. It won't have the 3rd party games that PS3/360 had or PS4/720 will have in the future.
Yeah, it is normal for a new console to be outsold by older consoles, but there is also a danger that consumers still think Wii U is just an accessory for the Wii. Like someone said before, Wii U is competing with the Playstation and Xbox brands. The lower the Wii U sales, the less of an advantage this year headstart will be.
