so the vita crashed and burned already? and i thought the console has just been a year on the market

In this short time it already managed to miss its original forecast, its revised forecast and the revision of the revised forecast. It's selling at a rate of less than half of what Sony expected, so calling it a failure isn't really premature anymore, unless there are/will be signs of a huge turnaround in 2013.

in no means is the vita a ressounding success. but it didnt "crash and burn" like the article said. i can easily go, walk in a store and buy a vita. if it crashed and burned i couldnt do that. also if the article is stating the vita crashed and burn why didnt he put the gamecube? if we are going by the vita numbers now its selling about 4 million a year. multiply that 5 which is the console hardware lifespam and you got about 20 million units, which is pretty close to the gamecubes numbers
