its on a credit card looking think. It replenishes every month and you use it just like a credit card. You can use it in almost every place that sells food. Also, I believe you can use it at McDonalds now.... you can by anything you want that is considered food... this includes soda, chips, chocolate, gummy bears, ect ect

Don't forget you can also use your food stamps at the ATM to withdraw cash! I work at a liquor store, on our vendor-operated ATM there is a green sticker that advertises you should "Use your EBT (food stamp) card to withdraw cash!"

That's only if you are qualified for TANF which is cash assistance. LOL... baby's momma had that too which was also another 250 dollars a month which would increase when the baby arrived. Having first hand look at all these I think they all need a rehaul. TANF is suppose to cover bills to live... but why does the government give cash? Why cant it be a check filled out to the power company?

Yep... whole thing is completely out-of-control and messed up. Blame both major parties as well as uninformed voters for allowing it to come to this.
