Thankfully PS3 still has Europe. Can't say the same for WiiU unfortunately (or fortunately for my prediction )

Still, I don't see why you think that the NPD numbers make your prediction more likely.

I mean, before NPD, going by VGC, we expected PS3 to do 50%, or ~340k better than WiiU during December, which would have been great for your prediction. Now, though, we know that PS3 did only ~35% - in the range of a mere 150k - better than WiiU. If anything, this makes your prediction much less likely.

Sure, you can say that PS3 has Europe. But PS3 already had Europe before NPD, didn't it? It's not as if the US was going to be WiiU's saviour here; it was going to get thrashed in the US before and it only end up getting beaten. All NPD did was make your prediction even more probable.

In fact, I'd even argue that, since we now know that WiiU is doing better relative to PS3 in US than we thought, there's a good chance that the same thing's happening in Europe, so PS3 may not even achieve your goal there. This is a bit of a stretch, though.

Regardless, I really don't see why NPD prompted you to try to sell this prediction further.
