This is subjective and your opinion doesn't mean it counts for everyone else. For me the game that made me get a Vita was Gravity Rush and Uncharted.

Sure there are a bunch of games that probably made a few people buy the system, but there is no Super Mario 3DS, no Animal Crossing, no "killer app" for Vita.

And the sales reflect that.

I really think that, above all else, is what's holding the system back.

I was pointing out that what he wants so badly doesn't mean I will. Quality of a game doesn't always reflect sales, bad games can sell tons while good games not. There are many Vita games that would make a lot of people want to get Vita, I'm not talking about sales or killer apps, I'm talking about the appeal.

But a killer app is all about appeal. If the vita had a killer app, like Halo or Wii Sports or Grand Theft Auto III, people would pay the $250 to play it.

If the Vita was truly appealing it would be selling better.

Again, I'm not talking about sales. Just because a game sells millions doesn't mean it will make me go and buy a system for it. Neither Wii sports nor Call of Duty made me buy a console. Are Sound Shapes or Gravity Rush not appealing enough? Or the upcoming Soul Sacrifice?

You are talking strictly on opinions actually. For a lot of gamers Gravity Rush is a incredible game but for others the game is really bad, same goes with Uncharted, LBP, Sound Shapes, etc. You can't say those people are wrong because that's their opinions, for them the games are simple not appealing.
