I think we are naturally straight yet manipulated to be gay through early life. See it's kinda like drinking. A kid drinks alchohol and thinks "what the fuck is this shit, why the hell do you drink such trash?" It's only as we learn from society that liquer is good do people actually enjoy drinking it. This sounds weirder than I expected.

This. I think Joe has a good explanation. Early life experiences mold who we are. Preference isn't a choice, in the sense that "Oh, I'll have lunch at Wendy's today" is a choice. Sexual preference isn't some kind of spontaneous choice. It's psychological. I know some people who have had their orientation changed from gay to straight through converting to Christianity. 

This isn't what I personally think, but I think a Christian might say that gay people are misguided; it is a mistake, and we all make mistakes. They view it as a sin, just like stealing and adultery.
