Great answer. Pokemon X/Y will be so great and i dont have a doubt it wont sell 10mil! But SM3DL will get around 3mil sales this year and not only that! Since 3DS hardware will sell amazingly this year,(cuz of pokemon) newcomers will also buy other games hence more sales!!! I think Mario 3D land will get 11.50mil by years end! Im hoping it'll be #1 in mario 3D platformers very soon!

I expect X/Y to eventually overtake everything else, but not as soon as the end of 2013. Pokemon will definitely drive hardware. I have a few friends who will be extremely jealous of me and will probably go buy a 3DS. Heck, they're already jealous because I have Kingdom Hearts 3D...

So wats your prediction on lifetime (SM3DL)? For me its actually 18mil as of now!!! [2013~11.5mil][2014~14.5mil][2015~16.5mil][2016~18mil]

I expect an excellent 2013 [LTD 11mil], a really good 2014 [13.5mil], and heavy decine for 2015 [14.5 mil] and 2016 [15 mil]. Reasoning? By 2015, there will be more than enough software options to slow the speed of 3D Land's sales by quite a lot. It should be SSB4's time to shine.
