This just nothing to do with how big your room |
Hmm. Well you see in Japan the apartments (Most Japanese live in apartments) are comprised of a central area encompassing the kitchen and living room, not only is it cramped, but typically you would find that most of the family sit on the floor in the living room in their free time. Kinect didn't succeed there not solely on its american image, but the lack of space and time to use it. The Japanese also don't really have parties at their apartments as the walls are pretty thin and it is considered rude to have many people to come over to your house.
This projection thing in all honestly is pretty durn cool. But can be considered very disruptive in a Japanese apartment. I think if microsoft wants to succeed in Japan, they should make this kinect/projection thing completely optional.
