The iPad is an app device with the ability to play some games. PS Vita is dedicated handheld gaming device with the ability to use apps. Vita already can use Skype calling with cam so technically its a phone.

I would never use my Vita over my iPhone.

Also, iPad doesn't just have some games, it has a lot of games. Vita also has very few apps. Also the iPad can use Skype with cam. Is that a phone?

What do you think Skype is?

Is the iPad a dedicated gaming machine that plays full games too?

I know full well what Skype is because I use it so my daughter can chat with my niece when they aren't hanging out. Either way, that doesn't mean the Vita is a phone, or that the iPad is a phone, or that my my mother's laptop is a phone. Skype does not make emergency calls, so unless you're immune to heart attacks and live in an ivory tower you still need a REAL phone.

Skype is nice, but Vita is not a phone, plus my iPhone does Skype better too since it doesn't have a terrible quality camera.

Also, yes, the iPad has FULL games. Unless you don't consider Final Fantasy III, Final Fantasy VI, The World Ends With You, Bastion, FIFA 13, Squids, Ghost Trick, Zenonia, Cave (Company) games or Ravensword, which is basically Skyrim in your hands.

I didn't even need to mention Angry Birds either. In fact many of these games are also found on these "dedicated" gaming devices.

Oh yeah, and Zenonia 5 releases at midnight tonight! YAY.

Edit - Oh yeah, Heroes of Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes is coming in a couple weeks too... with NEW multiplayer features!

How you like them apples?

Don't read out of context, I said it is technically a phone because you can make voice calls, and let me guess you don't need buttons for those mobile games right?  I guess old ports like from FFIII and IV is acceptable. Hmm, Zenonia gameplay is nice, just tap on a big circle to slash..

When I say full games I meant games like Soul Sacrifice, Uncharted, Ragnarok. Let me see you play that without buttons. Oh, and grats on finally getting some multiplayer features!

iPad is not a dedicated gaming device like Vita. Its like I said, an app device with the ability to play some games.
