The 3DS is a monster. I think Nintendo made an error by seemingly making the Wii U so Japan-centric -- they don't give a crap about consoles anymore. 

Should've made the Wii successor more tailored to the Western markets. 

those sales are pretty horrible for the wii u, when even the 599$ ps3 out sold it that same week and it had the wii as competion.
