You're forgetting one key factor though; the software sales.
Wii's been a monster in that department, despite the ignorant claims that it doesn't sell games. Wii managed to have SEVERAL games that have sold well over 10 million, and a decent amount that even sold 20 million. That's where the true phenomenon is, in the games themselves. Games like Wii Fit, Mario Kart Wii, NSMB, Smash Bros, Galaxy series, etc. These games put up numbers that cannot be touched by PS3's library. Problem with the Wii was, after the games stopped coming out, the console stopped selling. But when they were there, the software, AND the hardware sold like gangbusters.
