Will 3DS receive a hardware spike from the Pokemon XY announcement

I can see sales increasing slightly leading up to October. And then when X & Y release there will be a huge sales spike.

I'm just so happy I get to play the first fully 3D pokemon on my Pikachu 3DS. Yeah!!!
