I don't think anything over 20 million for 3DS is within reach, not unless Nintendo heavily cuts into profits and reduces the price to $129.99 and goes bundle-crazy.  Which is possible, but unlikely.  

18 million is probably the best it could do if the price remains at $169.99 and there are no hardware revisions.  9-10 million in Japan this year is easily within Nintendo's grasp, given that five extremely reliable and durable franchises are getting exclusive sequels on 3DS this year. This takes some of the pressure off of Europe and the US, which seem really soft at the moment.  Europe especially.  8-9 million combined for US/ Europe this year I predict.

I think we shouldn't underestimate the power of pokemon, ESPECIALLY since it's all being released at the same time.  DAT IMPACT.  It's a new gen pokemon, so it's sure to sell a lot of systems.  Mon Hun should sell systems for Japan, as well as DQ7.  

If the 3DS dropped to $129.99 and went bundle-crazy, I would suspect that it would pretty easily reach 25m
