If Nintendo are meant to create this user base for third party FPS games then why have 3rd parties stated we cannot compete against Nintendo on their platform?
Clearly Nintendo is not offering any competition in the FPS genre atm so now the reason is "business decision" coincidentally after we herd what happened with Origin all those months ago now.
Also Nintendo did not create an audience for Skylanders. The forward thinking at Activision is what made Skylanders big. The game execution created an audience for itself, with its battle area and extra packs of new characters. I can with confidence say that Nintendo are kicking themselves for not thinking of doing this with a Pokemon game. I also cna say with confidence that is Skylanders was jsut a game without the addons not many would have noticed it and would have been buried amounts all the shovelware.
