Pie i've been a member since 2008, so think of how tierd i should be of seeing these threads. the 7th gen. is dead and the 8th gen. has yet to arrive, even with WiiU out, so this early in the 8th and this late in the 7th, doomed should be the last topic on anyones mind when it comes to consoles.
if anything, PS360 should be the peak of conversation. how did PS360 beat out the next gen. monster the is WiiU? that should be the topic. how did Sony out sell 360 during Halo wk? how did Sony win 2012 when they had no major releases? how did 360 keep its momentum and dominate a new console during the holiday season?
WiiU can't fight without competition when its competition has yet to come, unless you choose to use the stick WiiU is measured by which is Wii, and how a seemingly dead beat the 8th gen's big beast?
the cycle has started without the need for conversation when the gen. has yet to start.
there's nothing wrong with speculation, but there is no need for multiple threads about it, when the thread either has an agenda, or the thread has no agenda, but some who post in them do.
it turns into pointless conversation that need not been had, and drags out needlessly/endlessly with the initial topic being lost in the mix.
i don't need to be reminded of doom being the cycle of console gen's., but does it need to be the topic of conversation before the gen. even starts.
just make a prediction thread, post it in their, and move on to something else, but a new thread eey wk, about the same topic just worded differetly, does not need to always be talked about.
it's old, and it's time to take a break from all the doom.
