They are building anticipation (which based on this thread and other is obviously working) and excitement while allowing the total consumer focus during the 6 month launch to be on lauch titles. That second aspect was probably a factor in getting the 3rd party support of AC3, Batman and so on. Expect to be bombarded with new upcoming game titles around the time Sony and MS anounce their new systems. They are saving the buzz. Also, don't forget WiiFitU. This will likely be a major launch from Nintendo, even if most of us don't care about it. It will move systems.
