With that gateway ability, it could stay game relevant despite old hardware on board. Since it wouldn't rely on its on board hardware to deliver a dedicated gaming environment, upgrades are not detrimental to it. I doubt yearly models would be needed, just new ones every so often based on developed game compatibility for Android apps.
Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(
