I liked Crysis 1 and hated Crysis 2, so this doesn't really concerned me. Either way it looks like EA is kinda pissed off because Nintendo didn't wanted to implement Origin on the Wii U, that could be one of the reasons this "business drive" didn't took off or maybe EA was expecting way too much coming from Nintendo (pretty much everything that wasn't development costs) and since this isn't a big franchise Nintendo decided to not do it. 

I guess this shows two things: 

1) The Wii U can run Crysis 3, because it wasn't a weaker hardware problem, which I'm pretty sure a lot of people still thought the Wii U couldn't run it. 

2) Nintendo is definitely looking for 3rd party support, this deal wasn't a success but maybe Nintendo is working with other 3rd party companies for their games. They're also probably looking for games that would actually make sense investing, like GTA5 for example.
