Its pretty naive to think this is done in 2 seconds.
They worked extra hard to optimize the PS360 Version and worked probably even harder to push PCs.
Now they suddenly should change everything(im pretty sure the WiiU has a complete different architecture and code structure) for a pretty low install base?
Optimzing costs money
This game/franchise is Ultra High Quality in terms of effort but it isn't a 20 Million seller.And they probably didn't want to delay the release.
And if the game comes later(half year) for the WiiU it is guaranteed to not sale at all.
