Is it just the red 3DS only that's be cleared out? I ask because my local Sears has removed their video game section all together. Now, I'm not sure if they had some kind of clearance before getting rid of it or if they just stored everything away in a warehouse somewhere, but if my local Sears is any indication, I'd imagine that a lot of Sears locations will be foregoing video game sales.
