Why did Insomniac discontinue Resistance even though their still making Ratchet and Clank?

So they should stop making R&C because it is stale and repetitive, and the solution is make a another shooter?

If anything shooters have gotten even more stale and repetitive, not to mention a completely over saturated market for that genre.
