Well, as 'poor' as the Wii U is doing right now, it's still doing better than the 360 and PS3 in there respective launch months. And that's with poor marketing, a clear lack of 3rd party support and the current financial situation.
It's all about momentum though. Nintendo needs to better inform people that the Wii U isn't a Wii-add-on and Nintendo needs to convince 3rd parties to port/develop games. And it needs to release Mario Kart for it.
