Did I use it in reference to poor WiiU sales? No, I used it to say that PS3 is selling amazingly well. You don't celebrate when something's doing bad, you do it when something's doing good!

Then why the PS3 vs Wii U threads? Why no PS3 vs 360 thread? Or a PS3 vs Wii U vs 360 thread?
