Whatever helps you sleep at night, start a thread without a poll and manually count based on posts, you'll soon see your theory vanish.


No, the most accurate way would be a head count. The top 20 commenters were evenly divided. I can name 10 360 fans off the top of my head who havent responded since this way heavily relies on participation.


A poll can be masked by anonymous bogus voting, a thread where people simply commented on the first line their chosen company it would be impossible to hide false votes.  The current poll looks about accurate though tbh.  Statistically speaking a similar percentage of people from each user group would vote in such a thread.  I understand why you want to not conceed that there are more than double the number of Sony fans on this site which is a fact.



Your way also relies on participation. Tons and tons of 360 poster havent shown up here and participated yet. Head count is the only way. As for the accuracie of this poll... I'm sure there are 500 active posters in the community. As for % based I'm sure the top 250 games thread has something to say about that
