Those games don't have a wide audience. The Wii U has failed to keep up with either the xbox or PS3. I can't see the wii u matching sales with it's rivals...ever. Maybe only in the fortnight of a big release but that's it.

That's a very outlandish and untrue statement. I'm sorry, you're wrong, on all fronts.

No you're wrong on all fronts.
Seriously if you're going to make such a statement, at least give it some substance because you're not omniscient. Lego is a childs toy. Pikmin is an old Nintendo franchise. Not exactly CoD are they?

Lego being a child's toy does not make it any lesser of a success than COD. If properly marketed, Lego City Undercover with their toys will help move hardware considerably.
Furthermore, back in 2007 the Sony PS2 was outselling the PS3 by 4 to 1 so your argument in regards to ''Wii U has failed to keep up with either the xbox or PS3'' only personifies your ignorance towards gaming cycles.

Yes it does because it being a childs toy means that your aimed market cannot actually afford the game. Children tend not to have an income; you are relying on gift giving. The PS2 was not competiting with the PS3. The Wii U is competiting with the PS3/360 until it manages to seperate itself from the 7th gen with an 8th gen game e.g. what PGR3 was for the 360.
I'm not ignorant to gaming cycles; please keep such unsubstantiated comments to yourself as they merely look personal rather then objective. What has been shown is your lack of understanding where the Wii U resides within this market as of current.

1. ''a child toy means that your aimed market cannot actually afford the game'' - The Skylander's and Pokémon franchise is geared towards a younger crowd and yet the franchise has crossed the billion dollar revenue. I fail to see your argument, they shift hardware.
2. ''the Wii U is competing with the PS3/360 until it manages to seperate itself from the 7th gen with an 8th gen game'' - That exactly is the point of gaming cycles... Older gen will always outsell the newer gen in the first year until proven otherwise (content, games, etc.). PS2 outsold Xbox 360 and PS3 within first year on market. Again, I fail to see your point on Wii U launch being a failure despite outselling the Xbox 360 and PS3 (including Europe) launch period in times where a worldwide recession did not affect people's spending habits.
