You can understand 'Doom' threads for the PS3 at launch (there were a few months when the GBA outsold it lol) and the Vita because those sales have been pretty poor, I couldn't say why people are jumping on the Wii is d00000med bandwagon, partly fanboyism and partly people (for some reason known only to themselves, including industry 'experts') expecting the Wii U to be the ridiculous sales phenomenon that the Wii was I guess.
The worldwide sales figures are reasonably impressive so far, the only territory that isn't doing so well is Europe but it's hardly been a flop over here either.
