Games games games... that's what it always comes down to. I don't particularly care too much about exclusives these days, so If the console doesn't have most of the big multiplatform games on it, or is lacking some of the features that the same games on other consoles have, then I steer clear of it.

Anti-used game measures I really don't care about. If it means the average price of new games actually DROPS for the first time in over a decade, then I'm all for it. If they don't, then no biggie, because I never buy games at full price anyways so I'll just keep waiting till a month or so after release to pick them up.

Backwards compatibility is now a moot point with the advent of digital re-releases. No hardware company is going to bother making their console b/c with games from 2 or more generations ago when they can just re-release those games digitally and make even more money.

Paying for "online" doesn't bother me either, because of the three consoles out there, the one that charges for things like online multiplayer and video streaming etc. just so happens to have the best all around online network, and they do it for roughly half the price of an annual Netflix subscription.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.
