Anyway, it's not like it matters that much, not unless Sony is able to win some of the North American market next gen. FPS fans, right now, are on the 360, so it's likely that the Sony would never see the same kind of sales as Halo even if they were able to create a shooter that is superior or equal. It would be a Forza/Gran Turismo situation. I don't know that the world needs another semi-generic Sci-Fi shooter, anyway. I would only really like to see another FPS come along if it's something original and interesting. |
Half of the market Microsoft is sitting on currently is a market Sony created. In order to get them back Shooters will have nothing to do with it, but worthy shooters will help to get Americans to look at the PS4 differently from how they generally see the Playstation brand, which is good at everything but FPS.
