Neither of the Pikmin games grasped 1 Million sales in NA. Pikmin 1 did if you include the New Play Control version though.

However, I have a feeling Pikmin 3 will outperform both of its predecessors.

I think it definitely will, given its placement on the schedule.  A lot of Wii U owners will be hungry for a new game by that point, especially one developed by Nintendo.  Pikmin 3 should easily surpass the others.

I just hope the Wonderful 101 is a good game and turns a nice profit.  It seems clever and original, but that doesn't always translate into success.
