The Wii U didn't meet our expectations. Is it a flop?

I was expecting a mid-October to late-October release at that point. Around E3 though I put it to mid-Novemeber.

Now, one month wouldn't give the Wii U around 3 Million more sales but I feel like if it did release at my predicted time then maybe 3 Million or so could have been achieved. I also expected the Wii U to build up more hype.
