They bought the Wii, and they didn't buy the Wii U. How hard is this to understand, are you really that dense?
Edit: My point has never been that the Wii was their dream system, my point was that they didn't buy the Wii U. They bought the Wii, complained that it was collecting dust for years and never played the big games that were released for it. You're an example of this, because every game I mention you ask "How did that play" ...
