I don't think so ... From what I remember, a lot of PS2 gamers bought a Wii when they found out the PS3 was $600 even though they were highly interested in advanced graphics. I suspect they believed that, since the Wii was more powerful than the Gamecube and the Gamecube was more powerful than the PS2, there would be a nice graphical jump from 1st generation Wii games to games down the road; and when these games didn't arrive and the PS3/XBox 360 dropped in price, they left the Wii for other systems. Games like The Legend of Zelda: Twiligh Princess, Metroid Prime 3, Super Mario Galaxy, and Resident Evil 4 showed the promise of the Wiimote and Nunchuck but few developers followed the lead set by these games; and for gamers looking for visually impressive games, the average third party PoS that looked worse than Dreamcast games was not cutting it. |
If they were what you originally said, graphic whores, obviously they were playing on devices which offered good graphics. I really don't give crap about that, I just wanted to know if there was a wii game which could be considered a good game for a graphics whore. You have showed no games which are even close to level of graphical fidelity which 2006 game gears of war showed.
How does tp/smg use motion controls? I know that RE4 has a lightgun or something like that.
