360 already had a price drop in north america and it didn't do much "if anything at all" and what happens if the PS3 had a pricecut also?

$50 aint much. MS squeezing every cent of profit out of 360 while its still selling.More importantly though Europe didnt get one, which was a huge mistake the past holidays.

I can easily see these prices before the next Xbox launch to keep 360 relevant and selling:

$129-149 - 4 gig 360

$199 - 250 gig 360

$199 - 4 gig/kinect 360

$299 - 250gig/kinect 360

Kinect - $99

Well it recieved a huge pricecut in australia :P

You can get a 4gb xbox for $194 here, which is slightly less then the 12gb PS3 which is $240 here.

But then again, australia is a small market, so it wouldn't have mattered.
