Since you brought up a comparison between a franchise I consider 'not so great' (Halo) (opinion) and a franchise I grew up with (GT) then I feel obligated to heal my butthurt by posting this:
Call of Duty Black Ops 2 sold more in its first month than any halo game ever will. And so did Modern Warfare 3...and Black Ops...and Modern Warfare 2. The sad part is the comparison that I am presenting is more valid than any considering these two franchises are in the same genre. What happened Halo, why can't you grow your fanbase anymore?
As far as sales go, Halo is the other guy. Let's talk about the big guns.
New Super Mario Bros Wii, Mario Kart Wii, SSBB, Wii Sports Resort, Wii Fit are just examples. That's right, I just used games sales from a system that I also dislike because I chose to. Also, Kinect Adventures. Boo-yah!
