Do we really need Alan Wake 2?

I haven´t played Alan Wake but it isn´t a huge franchise. Mybe it would be a smarter thing to try to establish a new franchise.

No, it isn't huge but "Remedy Entertainment" the creators of the original Max Payne and The Fall of Max Payne are (or were).

My take is that, just like "Rare", Remedy is another studio that MS dragged down to the gutter.

I am eagerly awaiting for a sequel on the PC.

Do you ever have a good thing to say?  You act like a game that has sold 1.3 million on 360 and we dont even know how much on PC.  Yeah those are bad numbers right? So what is some of your favorite games?  They better sell better than Alan Wake or else they are being dragged down by their publisher in your opinion.

Ever notice that Microsofts most successful relationships come from companies they created?

What are you saying?  Well i get what you are saying but how is that relevant?  What I was saying is that Alan Wake has been a success, nothing more.

My point is Microsoft works best in relation with people who have their same goals in mind. They arent the most liked corporation (and really, I doubt they care), but rather the most respected and they wouldn't have it any other way. All of the failed relationships they had this gen are a testament to that and the IP's they had exclusive to them last gen which never carried over. We will grow seeing less exclusives and more titles that have a major following. This is all Microsoft is paying attention to, much like Activision and EA (whom are closer to each other in mentality than any of the other corporations).
