The weeks after the holidays are the most interesting sales wise in my opinion. Real consumer (people that actually buy games and consoles to use themselves) have plenty of disposable income to spend and are free to choose the game or console they want. The fact that PS3 is strong in these weeks assures me that playstation is still pretty strong brand.
