| Horrorfest said: What a pointless thread. While Halo games always sell great for awhile eventually they come to a stop unlike the GT series which sells and sells. It's also a really big deal that the 360 has so few exclusives so it's no surprise that Halo and Gears sell so much because it's slim pickings. While on PS3 there is an absurd amount of exclusives. If the PS3 only had a few exclusives released in the past few years like xbox I would bet you money that GT5 would be far ahead of Halo 4, that's not the situation though. Either way, both games have sold amazingly well and both well reach 10M and maybe more. Despite the 360 having so few exclusives which maximize sells at the same time where there is so many FPS games and Halo has to compete with the top dog in Call of Duty, it's remarkable that Halo 4 has cemented it's position as the 3rd biggest shooter franchise behind COD and Battlefield. On the other side of the fence, while GT5 has MANY exclusives to compete with on PS3, it has virtually no other racing series that even comes close to challenging it. That's being unbiased. Try it sometime. |
Funny you say this is unbiased because you are only like the 20th person to come in here and downplay Halo 4. In fact saying 360 has slim pickings is amusing as well seeing as the 360 outsells PS3 in software in total sells by what I think 100m? Yes you were completely unbias though and both took jabs at Halo and X360 in the same post.
