Used games isn't stealing, but it IS standing in the way of publishers getting a larger piece of the pie that they deserve. There was a time where owning a game made it your copy of that game. You can buy a house and a car second hand, but for digital media that has all changed. Because gaming is coming towards a less tangible time the publishers know they can scream bloody murder if you dont pay them first hand for the game. The same goes for DVD's and other things because sooner or later that is what it will come down to and the consumer will be cornered. You have no right to anything they've invested in unless it is tangible. You have no right to the game that is on the disc, let alone the DLC (which is bullshit) because Capcom and EA were playing games with DLC being on the discs and only being unlocked after they were purchased. Conclusion? Someone is playing hardball. I cannot blame them for being angry with second hand sales.
