You have to shift the PS3 account to work... so I have two PS3 local account in my PS3 linke to two different PSN account (one mine and other for my brother)... the trophys, message, PS3 setthings, saves, etc is separated too... but all the apps (games, videos, musics, etc) can be acessed by any account.
It's like I have my own PS3 and he have other PS3...
