Harper is slowly building a nanny-police state that would serve me with several years in prison for my petty drug habit. I notice police checkpoints everywhere nowadays and for what purpose? Our legal system is growing increasingly corrupt and despite claims made by the Harper regime, nothing is being done to address serious crimes such as pedophilia. Additionally, gun control is still too strict and Harper has done little to correct that issue. The employment situation really hasn't improved the way it should have and the cost of living has skyrocketed where I am. We went from our largest surplus ever to the largest deficit meaning that our future isn't looking so bright anymore. Canada blows now which is a shame, it was such a lovely place to live ten years ago :(
